What products do you sell?
We sell only 100% cotton quilting-quality fabrics. We don't stock jersey, knit, polycotton, poplin or any other cotton-based fabric.
What quantities do you sell your fabrics in?
Our fabrics can be purchased by the half metre or full metre. All prices are displayed by the half metre. Please add 1 to your cart for 1/2 metre, 2 for a full metre, 3 for 1.5 metres, 4 for 2 metres etc...
Do you sell fat quarters?
No we don't but we do occasionally have smaller pieces available which can be viewed & purchased in our remnant category here.
Can I purchase samples?
Yes we do sell samples for our fabrics. All the info can be found here.
How do you cut your fabrics?
We use the ripping technique for all of our fabrics. This produces a much cleaner edge than manually cutting. However, it does mean that sometimes one side may appear slightly longer than the other due to where the fold is on the bolt and the grain of the fabric. As all our fabrics must be pre-washed (and ironed afterwards!) to prevent shrinkage, it's not a problem when you actually cut the fabric. We like to use this method so we can be as efficient as we can and get your orders to you asap!
How do I order?
Please browse our website, add the amount you'd like to your cart (1 for 1/2 metre, 2 for 1 metre etc...) and proceed to the checkout.
What are your delivery charges?
We offer FREE UK delivery on all orders over £25! For orders under £25 we offer a minimal charge of £2.00 for 2nd Class delivery or £3.25 for 1st Class (per order). International rates vary. Please see our delivery page for more detailed information.
Can I return my items?
Unusually for a fabric retailer we do accept returns (even though we don't have to). Please see our detailed information page for all the details.
Are your fabrics licensed?
All our Disney and character fabrics are licensed which means they are for personal use only. Please do not purchase them to make commercial items for re-sale.
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
We aim to ship all orders within 2 working days. Delivery will then take between 1 & 3 working days depending on which option you've selected at the checkout. All our FREE delivery parcels are sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class unless you to choose to upgrade to 1st class.
What should I do if my order hasn't arrived yet?
Please allow 10 working days before contacting us about a missing parcel as we can't investigate with Royal Mail until then. If you believe your parcel should have been delivered, please check with any friends/neighbours/family who may have taken it in for you. Usually parcels over 3 metres will require a signature so please look for the red "Sorry We Missed You" card from Royal Mail if no-one was home. Please also check your email confirmation/invoice from your account to make sure you've inputted the correct delivery details. Finally, please check with your local delivery office to see if your parcel is there. If after 10 working days, you've exhausted all these options, please contact us.
I'm having problems checking out on the website - what should I do?
Quite often if you've visited the website a number of times, there will be issues with your cache/cookies. If you do get an error message whilst checking out, please completely log-out of the website, refresh (f5 on laptop/desktop) and log-back in. Please also trying clearing your cache/cookie settings on your device or checking out on a different device or browser. If all of these things still haven't worked and you still get an error message, please contact us.
Do you sell remnants & smaller pieces?
Yes we do sell remnants & smaller pieces. Everything that is available can be viewed here in our dedicated category.
Do you have a loyalty scheme?
Yes we do! We are very grateful to each and every one of our lovely customers and like to reward their loyalty with us. We have our very own Vintage Sweetheart VIP loyalty scheme where you can collect 5 points for every £1 spent on the website. There are also extra points available on special offer weekends plus a birthday bonus too! Once you reach 1,000 points, you can cash them in and receive £10 off your next order. How do I join your newsletter?
Please either enter your email address in the pop-up box or scroll to the bottom of the website where there is also a sign-up box. All first-time customers will see a unique discount code for 10% off their first order over £30 (excluding sale) after signing up.
Do you restock your fabrics?
It depends on the fabric. If we know we definitely won't be able to restock, the fabric will be put into our "Last chance to buy" category. Most Disney & licensed fabrics we aren't able to restock, most of the poplins we can. Please contact us if there is a specific fabric you'd like more details about. We do have a very-high turnover of fabrics so please do purchase at the time to avoid disappointment later on!
My order has arrived and I have a problem - what should I do?

How do I search for a specific fabric?
Please use the search bar at the top of the website. Please also use the categories we have such as Disney, floral, children's etc... to narrow down the options. If you know the SKU that is even better! Please enter this into the search bar and it will bring up the exact fabric you're looking for.
Do you offer discount codes?
We only ever issue discount codes through our website, social media or our newsletters! Please do not try to enter any codes you've found on the internet as they won't work.
What payments do you accept? Can I pay over the phone?
You can pay by several different methods on our website; PayPal, credit card, Amazon Pay, Google Pay & Amex to name a few! Unfortunately we don't have the facility to accept payments over the phone.
